I have high hopes for this trip. I am expecting to make some new and close friends with you all! I'm thrilled to be have the opportunity to connect with different types of people, all bonded over our individual relationships with God. On this trip I also hope to expand my evangelism skills and learn how to effectively reach people of a different culture. I am beyond excited to learn and experience the culture and people of Guatemala!! I hope to gain a deeper understanding of Hispanic culture and the need for God and how to effectively help the needy. On this trip I also am praying that I can get a clearer picture as to what God has in store for me in the future. In the future I am planing on working with humanitarian type projects and I hope this trip will allow me to develop a distinct picture of my future. I also am praying that I will learn more of God's mercy and I pray that I can follow Christ's example of loving the downtrodden.
