Hello fellow Guatemala trip takers!
My name is Lauren, I am 18, and I live about an hour north of Baton Rouge, Louisiana in the small town of Ethel. I graduate from high school May 14..I am veryyy excited! In August I will move to Starkville, MS to attend Mississippi State University. I love Biology and Anatomy and as of right now my major is Biology. I am thinking of becoming a high school biology teacher.
My intrests/hobbies include: tennis, baking, swimming, being in the sun, shopping with my mom, food, hanging with my friends, waffle cone Wednesday at TCBY, goofing off with my dad and brother, pretty much anything! I love my small group Sunday school class and Wednesday night youth group!
I have been on a few mission trips (all in the US) and I have loved everyone of them! I especially LOVE working with kids. Last summer I went with a group from my church to Cleveland, TN to repair houses for some members of the community. Our group had people age 6 to late 70’s! It was awesome to see all of the different ages working together to serve our amazing God! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to take this trip, as I have never done international missions!
