Praying,

Thanks Amy! I pray for you and your team lots. Very excited about what you’re doing. When I’m in Haiti I’ll be thinking that we’re both doing missions together–but in different places–odd, but cool. Love, Dad.
Hey Al!! Thanks for the Father’s Day message!! We were so glad to see pictures of you….you look great!! We miss you and can’t wait to hear about everything. Take care of yourself and know that everyone prays for you each day. We love you!! Mom, Dad, and Derek. P.S. Jonas sends you a big old slobbery kiss. π
Hi Mari!
I miss and love you! Dave got your Fathers day message and loved it! Tell Kaci hi from us.
Love Mom! Dave, Jess, Korie and Kari too! XXXX00000
Thanks for the note, Sugar Babes. Big Bear was awesome. We love you and are proud of you. Have a great flight tomorrow, Dad.
Emmers, it was painful. Truly, seriously painful. The Cubbies beat the Angels 12-1. Awful doesn’t even begin to describe it. There’s no game tomorrow, but before you become despondent, starting Tuesday there are three home games against the Dodgers. And the people rejoiced. Missed you today at the lake. Water’s way up. Took pix. Joel just texted Dad with a Father’s Day note! Kiryn made it back from Kansas today; glad to be home. It was hot, windy and buggy. π Andy went to the Calvary Chapel meeting tonight. Dad wants to go to Starbucks. Yes, you read that correctly. Starbucks. But there’s a reason: G&B gave him a Starbucks gift card yesterday. Please let those in charge know we appreciate all the photos and posts today. The notes to the Dads were the best! Thank you so much! I love you, Sweets. Mom
Hey Lauren Lou,
Mom gave me the card first thing this morning. It made my whole day! We had a nice time at the beach after dropping you off in Georgia. But it just wasn’t the same without you. Not much oil in Alabama. Nothing like our coast. We were glad of that.
There were three large youth groups in our building. They were there to attend a Student Life conference. One group was from Minnesota, while the other two were from Arkansas. Your brother made several new friends and hung out with them when he could, playing guitar, visiting, etc. I think he especially liked the Minnesotans. Very nice folks, but very different accents, etc!
I am praying often for you and your teammates. I can’t wait to hear about your experiences in Gainesville and Guatemala.
I am about 2/3rds finished with the book you let me read from MSU. It is interesting and inspiring, although part of it is troubling as well. Thanks for letting me read it. Hopefully we’ll have time to discuss it after you’ve read it too.
I’ll be praying for you all to have a safe journey tomorrow.
Love you with all my heart,
Dad
Hi Holly,
Looks like you are having a great time there and making good friends. We are all glad that you have gotten closer to God. Mom and Betsy went to the the church picnic today while I spent Fathers Day working at the cabin and enjoying a little time to myself.
Yesterday we went to Fort Peck for the Longest Dam Run. I ran the 5k with Betsy and Mom did the 1 mile. We all finished with good times and the weather was great.
We are all thinking of you and praying that you stay safe and healthy. Love, Dad
Dear Elliot,
Father’s Day was terrific. Thanks for your thoughtful gift. I am lucky to have such a wonderful daughter. People do know me and they will be impressed by my Polo socks (LOL). You were missed but it’s great that you have this opportunity. Safe travels. Love, Dad
