Hey!
My name is Julianne. I’m 5’6″.3. My
hair is brown and occasionally wavy or just a giant poof of hair. My eyes are
mostly green, but they have known to be a hazel mix or even bright blue. I wear
size 7 ½ shoes…if I have to wear shoes otherwise I’m always bear-foot. I’m
pretty normal, I guess….not. I’m kinda actually a bit…ridiculous <<which
happens to be my favorite word>>.
I’m not your average person. I’m
crazy and weird and eccentric and well, more words like that. I don’t really
care about what other people think about me. There is a quote I really like:
“The people who care, don’t really matter. The people who matter, don’t really
care.” That’s kinda how I live my life.
I was thinking to myself….and when I
start to think…I get really crazy. I thought to myself, “If I can be just plain
crazy on life…what’s stopping me from becoming ridiculously crazy for Jesus? I
don’t care what people think about me, so why not go all out there?”
I’m far from perfect. I grew up in
the traditional Christian home and knew all the Bible stories backwards and
forwards and upside-down. I believed in God because that’s what I was told. It
wasn’t until my final year of high school that I realized just how much I
really needed Jesus in my daily life through every step in life. I have this
passion and desire to run and let my little spark be thrown into a wood
full of dry branches and watch it burst into flames.
I’m very excited to be going on this
trip to Guatemala with ya’ll this summer. God is going to do amazing things
through you and also to you. It is going to be a blast serving God and letting
Him use your life to glorify His name. I’m praying God will continue to open
your hearts to serve Him. Guatemala is beautiful. I’m sure ya’ll are going to
fall in love with it and its people.
I took four years of Spanish in high
school, so we’ll see how much I remember. I’ve been to Guatemala before and
also to the Dominican Republic and Mexico.
That’s me, I guess.
My favorite color is orange. My
favorite animal is an ant. I’m the oldest of eight kids. I have two brothers
and five sisters. Yeah…I guess I’m pretty average…right, about that….
